Ambrose’s Monthly Baby Photos
I love seeing age progression photos. Especially babies, because they change so much in the first year. I didn’t do any monthly photos with my first baby. I probably took a photo every second to make up for it though. For my second boy, I did monthly baby photos next to a stuffed animal to show how he grew. You can see that post with the baby photos here.
For my last baby boy, I decided to do a flat lay style for his monthly photo shoot. It’s funny, because this is easier when they are newborns and will lay flat, but as they get to be 9 months and older I found they DO NOT WANT TO LAY STILL. Whereas when I photographed my other child in a chair I couldn’t get him to sit up as a newborn but it worked out much better when he was nearing his birthday.
You’ll see him holding objects in the photos toward the end. This was so he would lay still for me, I found he was more cooperative when I gave him something he had never seen or held before…hence the big orange ball on month 7. The 12-month photo was the only “good not so blurry” one out of 50. So there’s that haha.
Anyways enough chit chat out of me. Below are my darling son’s monthly baby photos along with stats and milestones he accomplished that month.
Well, there is my handsome little rocket, pulling off the silliest of poses. I hope you enjoyed this post. I would love to see how you style your monthly baby photos. Thanks for reading.
